Aggregate concrete water jet cutting test
With extensive experience and proven results in water jet cutting, we accept requests for prototype and verification cutting of difficult-to-process materials such as metals, plastics, and composites.
Japan is said to be one of the leading cement-producing countries in the world. The inclusion of aggregates is not only to increase strength but also to control the heat generated during the "hydration reaction," which occurs when cement reacts with water and hardens. This reaction is a type of "exothermic reaction," and it helps to suppress the amount of heat generated during large-scale reactions. Additionally, it prevents phenomena such as cracking caused by "drying shrinkage" and "autogenous shrinkage," which occur when moisture evaporates after hardening. Due to the hardness difference between the aggregates and cement, cutting with a water jet can be performed with minimal impact, unlike other cutting devices that are prone to damage. This makes it suitable for strength testing and internal inspection cutting.
